Mary Henderson, MPH, MBA

Mary Henderson is the Managing Director of the Research Program on Genes, Environment, and Health(RPGEH). She received master's degrees in public health and business administration from the University of California at Berkeley. For the RPGEH, Mary is responsible for the nonscientific aspects of the program, including financial management, governance, information technology, communications, fundraising, and other functions.

Prior to joining the RPGEH in 2008, Mary was a vice president at Kaiser Permanente and managed large-scale projects that included the implementation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the development of Kaiser Permanente's self-funding insurance product line, and company-wide planning for Y2K.
