Larry Walter, MA

Larry Walter is Associate Director for Informatics for the Research Program on Genes, Environment, and Health (RPGEH). In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all information technology required by the RPGEH, including providing informatics support for biorepository operations, recruitment, and collaborative web portals; storage of genomic data; and computational resources for analyses.

Prior to joining the RPGEH, Larry served as the Administrative Director for Strategic Programming for the Division of Research and the Division's HIPAA Research Privacy Lead.

Larry holds a master's degree in experimental psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. He has worked for the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research since 1990 and has authored or co-authored publications on mental health services treatment effectiveness and other topics.
