Project Alive! (A Lifestyle Intervention Via Email)
Project Alive! helps you to adopt and maintain healthy eating and physical activity behavior. With 12 email messages that come to you over a 4-month period, Alive! teaches you about how the foods you eat and the physical activity you do can improve your health and well-being. It encourages you to change your behavior by taking small, do-able steps one at a time. Project Alive! provides tips for how to achieve those small step goals and tailors both the tips and the goals to your individual interests and lifestyle.
The overall goal of Project Alive! is a healthier you, a you who eats more fruits and veggies, selects healthy fats and carbs, and moves more and sits less. It is NOT a weight loss program, although by eating more healthy foods and doing more physical activity, you may well achieve or maintain a desirable weight. Regardless of your weight, following the Project Alive! program will certainly help you take steps towards feeling and looking better.
