Division of Research (DOR) research scientists or investigators conceptualize new research; develop grant proposals and procure research funding; recruit and lead project teams; and interpret and report findings in the peer-reviewed scientific literature. DOR research scientists most often hold doctorates and/or medical degrees, and have advanced training in epidemiology, health services research, biostatistics or related fields.
