Lynn Ackerson, PhD, has been a biostatistician and research scientist at the Division of Research (DOR) Kaiser Permanente Northern California since 1995. Dr. Ackerson also serves as Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University of California at San Francisco. She is a member of the American Statistical Association Council of Sections.
Dr. Ackerson has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and two book chapters. Her publications cover a wide range of medical areas including respiratory diseases, diabetes, mental health, respiratory control, and health services research. Dr. Ackerson's biostatistical interests are in design and analysis of clinical trials, and analysis of repeated measures data.
