Data Entry

The Data Entry Department (DED) at DOR provides data entry services to DOR investigators and staff and throughout Kaiser Permanente, Northern California Region. In addition to “double key” data entry, DED provides consulting on the design of questionnaires and data collection forms and provides cost estimates for specific data entry requests. DED uses Captiva Formware, a Windows-based software product, to develop forms and to produce ASCII output files for input into other programs for storage and/or analysis. Additionally, DED enters data into Access Software and Teleform corresponding to the variety of data entry methods utilized at DOR.
