Substance Use Disorders

Our researchers investigate a large range of issues related to substances (alcohol, tobacco, drugs, caffeine) and how use or abuse of these substances affects physical and mental health. Through studies such as Healthy Start, our researchers study dual diagnosis, the effectiveness of treatment, and the impact of substance use on health and the cost of health care.
