Hepatitis C Cooperative Research Centers (U19)

The project will address the immunological and immunogenetic correlates of response to antiviral therapy for HCV. Two distinct but complimentary laboratory projects will study the innate and adaptive responses in blood samples from both a retrospective cohort of patients previously treated, and a prospecitve cohort of patients during the first 12 weeks of therapy.
