The present study investigates the effects of an eight-week mindful breathing intervention on 24-hr blood pressure, breathing rate, and an index of pCO2, the amount of CO2 in expired air (PetCO2).

The Effect of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Received During Treatment on Chemotherapy Patients
The purpose of this feasibility study is to assess whether listening to mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) on CDs is of interest and acceptable to patients receiving chemotherapy for breast or colon cancer. This study also gathers preliminary information as to whether MBSR can improve these patients' mood and quality of life.
