Theodore R. Levin, MD, is a research scientist at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research; gastroenterologist at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Walnut Creek; and assistant clinical professor of medicine, University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Levin's research interests include health services and outcomes research in gastroenterology. Particular areas of interest are colorectal cancer screening with sigmoidoscopy, fecal occult blood tests, and newer DNA-based technologies. He is also involved in ongoing outcomes research studies related to gastroesophageal reflux disease and dyspepsia.
