Michael J. Silverberg, PhD, MPH, has been a research scientist at the Division of Research, Kaiser Permanente Northern California since 2004. He received his doctorate in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2001, and his master’s in public health in epidemiology from the School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles in 1999.

Patient Portal to Support Treatment Adherence in HIV Patients

This project includes observational studies describing electronic medical record use and the association with adherence in HIV patients. The observational studies will be followed by a randomized clinical trial to develop and field test a health information technology delivered behavioral intervention to increase adherence to antiretroviral treatment among HIV patients.
