Lynn Ackerson, PhD, has been a biostatistician and research scientist at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research since 1995; and she is also a lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Ackerson's biostatistical interests are in design and analysis of clinical trials and analysis of repeated measures data. Dr. Ackerson has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and two book chapters. Her publications cover a wide range of medical areas including respiratory diseases, diabetes, mental health, respiratory control, and health services research.
