Participate in this Program: Who Can Participate?

Participation in the research program is open to all adult members (age 18 and over) of Kaiser Permanente Northern California.

The research program is based on information from three different sources that we receive from participants–a survey, participants' electronic medical records, and participants' DNA samples extracted from saliva or blood. The survey provides important information about a participant's lifestyle, including diet, exercise and medical and family histories.

We are currently updating the online version of the research program survey.  We expect it to be available online during the summer of 2010.
