Iliana Escobar, BA

Senior Research Assistant

Iliana Escobar, BA, is a senior research assistant in the Division of Research where she works on the Early Autism Risk Longitudinal Investigation Study (EARLI) and the Study to Explore Early Development (SEED). She received her bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University and worked as a broadcaster for Spanish language radio addressing health and social issues in the Latino community. Her experience in communications led her to the field of research. Prior to coming to the Autism Research Program, she worked at the California Department of Public Health with SEED and also at the March of Dimes where she worked on the National Birth Defects Prevention Study (NBDPS).
