Daisy Mendoza, BS, is a senior research assistant for the Division of Research, Kaiser Permanente Northern California where she is currently working on the Early Autism Risk Longitudinal Investigation Study (EARLI). Ms. Mendoza received her bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from California State University East Bay. Prior to joining the EARLI Study, Daisy assisted with type 1 diabetes (T1D) research for Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute where the goal of the study was to look for genetic associations with T1D in both, existing samples and newly collected samples from Children's Hospital Oakland.
